Peak Employee
As a freelance designer and developer, I worked with startup company Peak Employee to design and develop an HR focused SAAS application.
I worked closely with the company founder and lead developer to define application requirements and develop wireframes and application flows. As with any startup company requirements were rapidly changing and iterations had to be accomplished quickly.
In addition to static designs, I worked as the lead frontend developer, creating both mockups and final HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the application dashboard and marketing websites. I especially focused on implementing D3.js to create interactive data charts, and worked closely with the lead developer to manage design components.
This was an exciting and dynamic project to be a part of. It required the ability to create an application UI from scratch and iterate quickly and efficiently to respond to changing business requirements.
