VMS Edge Application
VMS Edge was a concept for an internal tool at Redtech, to help improve the workflow for recruiters using vendor management systems.
The team identified several pain points in the process, including accessing various systems to find new roles, match them with candidates, and track the progress of candidates through interviews to (hopefully) being hired.
I worked with a small team of developers and project stakeholders to define requirements. This included a set of MVP requirements as well as future improvements and “nice-to-haves”. Out of the requirements I developed a workflow and basic wireframes for the site.
The visual design phase involved creating static comps using Sketch and reviewing with the team in InVision. Following the initial designs, I created high fidelity prototypes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and developed documentation of UI components for handoff to the development team.
Design components (images, HTML markup, CSS, and JavaScript) were handed off to the development team for integration into a .NET MVC web application.
The application is currently under development and being revised to include changes in the recruitment workflow.
